Registrations are now open for Kensington’s first academy for girls.

In an exciting move, the club will this season launch its academy for junior girls.

Former state player, Carolyn Dittmar, who joined the club as A grade coach last season has been appointed to head up the academy. Carolyn will be assisted by Andy Mulvany, together with a number of our senior players and other specialist guest coaches.

The academy will cover 2 age groups, with 9-12 year olds and 13-18 year olds catered for. It is envisaged that the academy will act as a feeder for our existing A and B grade sides. Players will also be given the opportunity to compete in SACAs proposed Junior Strikers WBBL competition and in trial games against other club academies, together with internal trials.

Sessions will be held on Friday nights at Parkinson Oval, from

4-530pm, commencing on October 28th., and run for 12 weeks. (6 pre-Christmas, 6 post-Christmas) The cost of the full 12 week programme plus games is $200.
