In bringing home 6 premierships to the club, the Club championship, Umpires award as well as Sarah Lowe winning the Karen Rolton award, another brilliant season for the Browns.
Even though the business economy has been more challenging we have been able to have continued support from so many companies of which we are very proud to be associated with.
David Harford and the team from Northline Freight Management continued their great support for the club and even though David spends a lot of time travelling the world with business he still keeps up to date with all the Browns results.David is also one of the clubs Vice Presidents.
The Feathers Hotel have been superb again in their support even though they have been rebuilding their own home facility over the summer and how good is the new extension. It is outstanding and the updated Pavilion is always packed out.Thanks to Shaun Matthews and the team for their great friendly service. A night out at the Feathers is a real fun night!
The team at Klemich Real Estate continued their great support of the Browns through being a major partner as well as joint owner ,Steve Alexander making himself available to auction off our heaps of items that we had on offer at our fundraising night with special guest Kim Hughes during the season. Thanks to Steve Alexander, Matt Smith and Oren Klemich, these guys know how to sell real estate. Another outstanding South Australian company that continues to win Real Estate awards because they are one of the best in the business!!
The major fundraising night at the club for the season was another huge success with special guest former Australian Test Captain Kim Hughes. Kim spoke brilliantly, was very entertaining and stayed all night for photographs and autographs. Well done to Patrick Connelly, Mary Read, Jane Lowe and Greg Slack for organising such a successful event. Everyone who attended had a great night and the club made some money as well thanks to the skill of auctioneer Steve Alexander and the generosity of our guests. Can’t wait for next seasons BIG night near the Adelaide Test Match. These are must attend evenings at the club.
The Balfours brand is one of South Australia’s oldest and best and we have been very excited to have them as part of our team again at Kensington. We proudly wear the logo on all of our playing outfits and love eating the magnificent product from one of our key partners.
Myles Pope is an outstanding IT man. Myles from MLPA is responsible for the updating of all the information and design of our website . He has created a system whereby the website is able to have a team of contributors to the information about all elements of the club. This is also where we promote and share our formation about each of our sponsors on the website, through the Twitter feed and Facebook. Myles also distributes our club e-newsletter.He is an absolute must to discuss any IT ideas for you and your work place. Thanks Myles and Jocelyn for the brilliant job that you do for the club.
In Focus Money Management are major partners at the club. Jamie Panelli and Ayesha Brine have an outstanding business and knowledge of the money market and we have been very fortunate to have them part of our club. As well as the outstanding contribution to the club as major partners, Jamie continues to have an influence on the cricket field at the Browns. What a legend he is, so well regarded by everyone that knows him, he is a true gentleman and an outstanding cricketer with a season highlight being a record 174 when batting for the LOAs.We are delighted to have Jamie and Ayesha as part of the Kensington team.
The Sports Centre team at Port road are responsible for the magnificent clothing that we wear so proudly as our uniforms across the club. Ian Knight does an amazing job with the design and quality of the product that they produce and they look fantastic. The Sports Centre team are also responsible for the great signage that we have at the club. So for clothing and signage, give Ian Knight a call.

Patrick Baird is a star from Daylesford accommodation who has again sponsored our club with one of their amazing vouchers that we have been able to auction off during the season. The Kensi Hotel must be one of the best Hotels in SA, so much character, the food is superb, the place is always busy and you can play the pokies if you want. Vincent Tarzia is the member of Parliament for Hartley and has been a great resource for our club with support and ideas especially with the MasterPlan strategy for the Kensington Gardens Reserve. The Glass man is John Jonas, a long time supporter of the club and the only person to contact when you have a broken window,need a glass splash back, a shower screen or a glass pool fence. No job is too much trouble for John and his team.
